The name of “Sekka shibori”, Snowy flower dyeing, comes from an appearance of six flower petals in the hexagon, reminds us of snow crystal. The recipe is to fold the Japanese paper in bellows and to put the dye to each parts of the acute angles. It is hard to equalize the dyed condition which the skilled technique is required.
