Yes, some of you may feel a little difficulty in putting Palmo GL on and off iPhone, due to the nature of leather product. Our official recommendation is that, to put Palmo GL on iPhone, start from the lower two corners first, and then the upper right corner (facing the screen), finally the upper left corner. When you put it off iPhone, please follow the reverse order, i.e., start from the upper left corner. Actually, the upper left corner is the strongest part of Palmo GL, because there are neither camera nor earphone jack, and thus we can minimize the effect of putting on/off. Havig said that, we wouldn’t recommend you unnecessarily put on/off, because it would result in the undesirable extension.

You will be able to put on and off Palmo GL comfortably after it fitted into your fingers, but we received very few of voices from test-marketing users that Palmo GL got easy to come off. Upon these voices, we have improved the design of Palmo GL and introduced the support tapes into the upper and lower parts of its insides. These are designed to be used by uncovering the cover tapes (for iphone XS/X) or the cover papers (for other sizes of iPhone). If you use the support tapes from the beginning, the upper and lower parts of Palmo GL will be fixed, and the fitting part will be limited only to the middle part. We wouldn't recommend you put Palmo GL on and off your iPhone frequently, because it will weakens the holding power of Palmo GL and the adhesive power of the support tapes. For example, however, if that's putting on/off depending on weekdays and weekends (4 times per month), there would be no significant impact. In terms of the support tapes, it is concerned that some dusts may affect it depending on your storage conditions, but as long as it's 4 times per month, it will be sustainable for more than 1 to 2 years in the default condition.

As Palmo GL is made of Italian genuine leather, you can enjoy the leather aging specific for genuine leather. Particulary in the CAMEL and the Red, the colors are to be enriched and matured day by day. The speed and degree of changes totally vary depending on the amount of exposure to light, climate, humidity, and frequencies of touching (= the amount of natural oil on fingers) and care with oil/cream. The Black doesn’t have a dramatic change of color like the CAMEL, but, rather, the consistency is the attraction. Please enjoy the course you give the light to the absolute black. The CAMEL, the Red and the Black, please have them matured into the only one in the world and the only one for yourself.

The cow leather of Palmo GL has the living evidences of cow, such as scars, wrinkles and veins, and that’s the appealing point of natural cow leather. This can be compared to the grain of wood, and all is the characteristics of its own. All the more, Palmo GL will be the only one in the world and the only one for yourself. For leather products, these are not so much scars as textures and will fade into the background while you are using it. Please do not worry too much and enjoy the leather aging and the feeling of fitting into your fingers as much as you can.

It is not necessary to use protective cream from the beginning, because Palmo GL is painted with mink oil (to soften tanned leather and to deepen the color of it). It seems that ordinary users tend to use too much of protective cream and have leather products greasy. Furthermore, using too much of protective cream prevents the leather from breathing. As the natural oil of our hands can play a role of protective cream, we would recommend you use a small amount of protective cream and spread it softly. It will be effective to brush as well. It’s not necessary to brush every day, but it will be effective just to brush away the dust.

Yes, your fingers may feel a little painful at the beginning of use, due to the characteristic of leather product. In such a case, we recommend you put off and rest your fingers. As the time for Palmo GL to fit into fingers varies depending on the persons, e.g., how often he/she uses it, how thick/thin his/her fingers are, please handle it at your discretion. If you insert a pen between Palmo GL and iphone XS/X when you sleep in the night, the time for fitting would be shorten. Also, if you apply a little water on the surface, it would also promote the fitting.
